Nonresident hunter here looking for a wild game processor and possibly a taxidermist in or around Billings Montana. Anyone have some good recommendations? I like to get my ducks in a row before I get there.

If I could I would, but I can't. I need someone that can process and ship. I understand thats a not the cheapest or best route but the tight turn around I have for work its the best I can do. Its that or hundreds of dollars in airline fees and still they can throw the meat out if it isn't frozen solid

I would definitely avoid 4th ave meat and trails end. Last time I took stuff to trails end I got back about a 1/3 of what I thought I should have the guy got post when I called him and asked then about 6 months later I found someone’s tag in my freezer that I don’t know it wasn’t my stuff he gave me. Should also say I guess the only reason I called him was the price was insane I weighed the stuff he gave me mostly sticks and sausage it came out to about 16 bucks a pound so I think they just gave me the wrong order but he wasn’t to worries about it
