Son, “poaching” is how the west was won. If you sayin you ain’t spotlighted ditch chickens before you’re lyin. However, this is beside the point. I am granted special hunting privileges due to my Cherokee Indian ancestory

Last I checked, Cherokee wouldn’t have any special privileges in the state of Idaho

I have never spotlighted anything, don't own and have never owned a shotgun, and don't know what a "ditch chicken" is.

Taking a deer with birdshot is just bad sportsmanship regardless of whatever special accommodations are provided for those with NA ancestry. Those "special accommodations" were not granted with the intent to allow for trophy hunting, which is what this obviously was.

10 shots of birdshot? Legal or not, this is a bad look for hunters all around. That's my opinion, everyone is welcome to theirs. I'll not argue the point.
"Don't own a shotgun" lost your man card before you made it to hunting ethics.

The nez perce do not here in Idaho. And the yakama and colville along with countless other tribes over in Washington get free rein away from their reservations. On reservation they follow the tribal fish and game regs, off they do what they want

That's BS. I see you are from SC. I lived in SC for 18 wonderful years. Won the IHMSA revolver class state championship in '82 or 83. I've got rifles and pistols but never got into shotguns and bird hunting.

In the Upstate of SC, back in the 70s you pretty much had to hunt GMA land where deer were reintroduced to see a deer. It was shotgun only for deer so it wasn't just birds, squirrel or rabbits that you needed a shotgun for. In the late 80s I was whacking deer at 50-250 yards with a Contender 7-30 Waters pistol. A revolver never meant anything to me unless it would fit in my right front pocket or bib pocket of my overalls. I do respect your ability with a revolver. I would have enjoyed whackiing deer w open sights on a revolver.
