I know Wyoming has an early season rifle mule deer hunt starting on sept 15.

Thanks guys! That's a WY buck. I saw him once again about 10 days later in a slightly different spot. Last weekend I hauled in water supplies and didn't see him but I did see someone elses boot tracks that was up there scouting. As in most places in Western WY looks like I'll have some company. Hopefully I'll be able to spend 3-4 days up there in archery season.
