I know a killer place in Grand junction, about 3 hrs West of there. Orchard Mesa Market 29th and hwy 50.

Great minds think alike....I found plenty of taxidermists, no meat processors though.

Speaking of which, we need to get ahold of some formaldehyde to preserve the velvet.

Denver is only 105 miles from vail. And they don't get any better than Steve's Meat Market. Vacuum seal every packet and do a great job. I used the place in grand junction on orchard Mesa. They are horrible. Your yield at the Orchard Mesa place in grand junction will be 1/2 of what it would be at Steve's.

There is a guy in Gypsum and I believe he is the closest. He is the butcher at columbine market so if you give them a call they should be able to get you in touch with him. Otherwise you might look in summit county, silverthorn or frisco.

There was a guy in Eagle a couple years ago working off of hwy 6. If he is still cutting meat I would steer way clear of that operation.

if that fails and you are going west there is a place in Silt CO. Gross locker plant.(terrible name,i know but thats the family name).970-876-2334.they did a great job with my bull last year.
