Great find! Looks like an EHD buck that died in velvet, hope the area didn’t get hit very hard or it died from something else.

We haven’t found any other dead deer in the area. Herd seems pretty healthy. See more and more deer here yearly. Likely a bad shot by a poacher given the area we are in.
