hi wondering if anyone has any experience with the big agnes blacktail 2 any review or info appreciated

I have the black tail 3 hotel. Larger version of the one you are asking about. Very sturdy tent, good in wind and I never had a problem with rain. I took it on a backpack hunt with my sun and we split it up to distribute the weight. We're both over 6 foot and we fit better together in a 3 man than the two man, plus the added vestibule on the hotel was really nice to keep gear dry but out of the tent.

Ive got a blacktail 2 and think its solid for the price - if I backpacked more I would probably pay more for something lighter. With that being said I have rode out some gnarly storms in the blacktail without issue.
