These bags have been around forever, but I don't hear much about them. Uninsulated bottom that attaches to the pad. Seems like it would be a really efficient design, but I don't know. I've seen and owned other Big Agnes bags that were well thought out and a decent value.

Would be interested to hear feedback from people who have used BA Sleep System bags.

I have the big Agnes summit park 15. It has all the best features of a quilt and sleeping bag. The key is having the correct pad rating for the temperatures you are sleeping in. 90% of the complaints are from folks who buy it and pair it with a pad with a very low R rating.

I’ll typically just leave my pad deflated in the sleeve and shove it in my pack.

With that said, if you are looking at that style of sleeping bag/system, I would take a close look at a zen bivy set up. That would be the next step up from the big Agnes.

I also run a summit park 15 with Big Agnes pad. Unfortunately they no longer make that bag. As a tall, built dude, it has plenty of space. I also roll around a lot during the night so it's nice to have the bag attached to the pad and the space in the bag to move around. Their pads are also great for side sleeping.

I have an older Farwell 0 and the insulated pad. It has worked well and you definitely don’t slip off the pad with the sleeve. That being said I’m a big guy and I find the 20” pads too narrow for my shoulders and arms when sleeping on my back.

I have a big agnes UL 15 degree. I cant remember rhe exact model but I belive its discontinued now. Pair it with a good pad and its been awesome. I have other bags as well but I love this style for the fact I don't slide off the pad.

Have the 0 Anvil Horn and just used it on my Moose hunt in AK. Like the others above, love the integrated pad and room to roll over. My second time buying a BA bag, primarily because of the integrated pad. Buy the widest pad your bag will accept……I think mine is a 25” wide. The 20” is too thin IMO.
