Big Agnes Pomer Hoit SL Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Down bag

Looking for help on deciding on whether or not to purchase a Big Agnes sleeping bag. I am thinking of buying the Big Agnes Pomer Hoit SL Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree.

I am a fairly cold sleeper but the biggest reason I am thinking about big Agnes system is because I roll off of my pad and the sleeve idea for the pad seems like a great idea. Also I use a neoair x-lite pad.

I have the pomer hoit and marmot lithium. I really like the pomer and like you I move off my sleeping pad and it has helped a lot. I use it with a thermorest xtherm and it has been a winner.

I have 2 of their bags and like the sleeve in the back. I can't tell you how they compare for temp rating, as these are the only 2 bags i have used. I used the Pomer Hoit last year for a trip and the Mystic for all the trips before that. They are both the non treated down versions. The zippers can be a little "challenging" at times, but overall I like them.

I wish I would have bought the xtherm and will upgrade if I plan on any backpack trips late season. I am leaning towards the pomer because of the sleeve and treated down. Another question I have is does it compress as small as specs say?

Yeah it does I use a sea to summit ultralight waterproof compression sack and it compress's really small. I don't know what the specs are but I could take a pic for you tomorrow to give you some perspective. I use the xtherm in the sleeve and a zlite under that when I use my sawtooth. If you keep your eye out you can get some good deals I bought mine in January last year but I'm sure you can find another one for a good deal.

Oh another thing if you work for a company that sells big agnes you should be able to get a better deal on a pro form than what you can get on promotive

Was just researching bags and saw that therm arrest has a bag similar to the pomer hoit. Connects to sleeping pad. Similar specs. Anyone have any reviews on these bags?
