Does anyone here are experience with the Spartan Lite bipods?

Check out the Wiser quick clip system. Saw them at the outdoors show a few days back and picked it up. Super interesting little system that if it works correctly will save about a pound using stuff I’m already normally carrying anyways.

If I’m on a hunt that I don’t have trekking poles with me though then I have an Atlas which I find to be rock solid and have had zero issues with.

Does anyone here are experience with the Spartan Lite bipods?

Have used the Spartan Pro Hunt a bit.

Pros: incredibly light, quick to attach and detach.

Cons: the magnetic attachment has too much play for me. I know others have said they didn't find it an issue, but in as "controlled" conditions as I could get (range shooting, short distance, prone only), my groups with this were far larger on a 223 than with a more heavy-duty bipod on a 308.

Admittedly, the rest of the entire system was different as well. But the point is that the Javelin moved noticeably in its own mount.

Groups were still within the kill zone for medium game - but the big issue was more the mental side, where my attention kept jumping to the felt slop in the bipod rather than the shot process.

I also didn't care for the twist-lock mechanism - too fiddly to adjust on the clock - although they do now have a quick-deploy "Tac" version ... although I personally woudn't use that magnetic attachment in a "Tac" scenario, so it looses points for being cheesy.

Still not sure if I'll keep it for it's tiny weight, or move to something like the Tier One Evolution, to have an underslung/apex-over-bore option.

I have a Spartan and its ok. I gave it a couple seasons and will still use it for backpack hunts when I am cutting ounces but it's not as stable as even a Harris and I ultimately ended up getting an Atlas and like it much more than either one. I have the a BT47-17 PSR Long and it's about perfect for prone field shooting.

I'll say that another drawback was the Spartan doesn't fold flat, the magnetic attachment is decent, and I never had it fall out but it's one more thing for me to lose/forget when I take it off and stuff it in my pocket or my pack.

I like a atlas cal tall for a field bipod. 45* legs make it versatile. Have used Harris and Spartan and moved to all atlas after getting lucky at a match. No I really prefer the atlas.

Too many adjustments on the ckye pod didn’t tickle my fancy the few times Iv tried them. I’d really like to try a TBAC but can’t justify the price over what Iv got for a little faster deployment.

I run harris bipods on my match and hunting rifles. Still the most popular bipod you will see at a prs match. Do you want this for prone shooting? If so a harris 6-9'' with swivel and notched legs. You can spend a bunch more money but it's not needed in my opinion. Atlas makes great products but you will spend more than double.

I love my modular evolution. I've ran/owned the rugged ridge, atlas, and harris. The versatility/weight are pretty unbeatable.
