BHA lifetime and Kimber

BHA is giving kimber firearms with lifetime memberships. A lot of money but for great purpose as we need more help battling legislation every year.
I'm strongly thinking about the membership with the stainless II 1911. I'm thinking use my credit card and then pay off over one year. My plan anyways.
Anyone purchase lifetime memberships for anything?

RMEF Lifetime Member...did it when they were offering the Henry .22 Golden Boy and the membership for around $1800. Had it engraved and gave it to my son.

How long is this going on? I thought about it when I first heard of it a couple months back. Just a yearly member right now.

The site just says for anyone signing up in 2014. Could call them though.

I just punched my visa tag for the gold membership and a 1911. It's a sting but not bad considering other things I've blown green on.
