BFG AT alternatives

The Falkens come with a treadlife warranty and road hazard coverage from Falken.
Looks like my tucks size is about $331 right now per tire here in town.

I owned two Tundras at the same time, both 2007 4X4.
I had Falken AT3W on one truck (some of the best AT tires in snow), and Baja Boss AT on the other.

I get a ton of snow and ice where I live, on the switchback that makes up my driveway I would get often get stuck in the Falkens, just couldn't make it up.
Whereas the Baja Boss equipped truck could drive around the stuck Tundra and continue up the hill, no sweat.

The new Falken AT4W is worse in the snow that the old Falken AT3W.
Goodyear Duratracs aren't tough, and suck in snow and ice after they get some wear on them.

Baja Boss is the GOAT all terrain tire. Expensive though.

Haven't had an issue with my AT4 s in snow here, they've been great.
The Duratracs are great for our snow, mud not so much, lol.
Spouse put some Yokohama Geolander X ATs on his F250 and likes them.

Funny how we all can have differing experiences with tires it seems.
We have dry snow and that makes a diff I think in how tires react to it.

Another vote for the Falken wild peak at4w. Threw them on a little SUV we have, and I have been very impressed so far.
