Anyone use this yet that has some Photos? Theres some stuff out there but Id like to see more and maybe some size relations standing next to it how it can be configured and such. Looks like a great Shelter and the price point is pretty reasonable. Thanks fellas very interested in seeing some more about this.

I agree. I'd like to see pitching options, some inside photos and to know if you can pitch it with trekking poles.

Ill work on getting some of those photos together.

Short answers
- You can pitch it with linked poles, or a pole plus extender. Optimum height full enclosed is 64 inches. We also have a carbon pole that is 5.3 ounces that works well with it (currently out of stock expecting more soon).
- You can pitch it with a trekking pole at a lower height with one door open , or both doors partially open, but still in a tipi type shape
- You can pitch it with doors sort of guyed out in a partial tarp / partial tipi configuration.
- You can even float one half of it up open ended on sticks and pitch half of it in a half circle.

It's very flexible , with only a few limitations. I hate to do direct comparisons, but sizing is very comparable to a SL3, or possibly LBO with the older 2 part vestibule. The square part that most people will use for sleeping is almost the same dimensions as the LBO base.

I'll get photos dug up or try to get a video together in the next few days.

Can you please include interior photos with a stove and sleeping pad/bag set up. Still trying to get an idea of interior space with a stove etc. All the companies list a square footage of interior space but even though I'm pretty good with numbers and shapes it still is hard to picture the inside of a tent/tipi/tarp/shelter.

Here are a few photos from the summer

Above is a weird pitch for the LBO and BT2 were sort of mated together for playing cards out of the rain. The BT2 is pitched very low and one door is sort of hung underneath the LBO

Hey Kevin thanks for responding. Was hoping to get you out putting this thing up. Unfortunately your pictures aren't visible. Some Rokslide Photo Bug Ryan needs to work out  Kidding Ryan dont throw me out. ;) If you need to you can pm me for an email and I can photobucket your photos and post the links. Very interested in this thing for sure. From what I can tell in the photos Ive seen its basically a Tipi with 2 full zippers to make 2 entry ways or in essence unzip the tipi in half? Let me know if I have that right.

I've got one that I won form their giveaway. I paid extra for their stove jack and carbon fiber pole. The WHOLE thing, seam-sealed, stove jack, CF pole and with 12 Ti snow stakes is about 2.5 lbs. You could ditch the pole and just make stakes on site and you will be waaay less than 2 lbs. I haven't been out with it yet but it looks snot proof and it will fit two low cots <-- give you and indication of the size/footprint.

You can search for my posts about it but here are some pics I've already posted...

Thanks Alukban, Photos are great. Kevin emailed me the Photos here is what he sent. he is going to get some additional ones going in the next few days.

1st post here on Rokslide. I'm ordering the BT-2 during next week's sale after looking at a bunch of tipi-2's Thank you to everyone who posted pictures! I was looking for a solo winter tent and something that I could use with my 72 year old Dad in the summer. I hammock, but he doesn't like to "hang", so this, with dual door bug nets, is perfect. We do 2 trips a year, mostly in the Adoroindacks and I am trying to make him as comfortable as I can.

Alukban, any idea what the interior dimensions are? I was looking to get a 1/2 bathtub floor made, mostly for my Dad to sleep on, but maybe for me in the winter. I know the BT- is 96"x106", but that doesn't really help if I wanted a 1/2 pyramid shaped floor....

I am also getting the medium stove. I cannot wait to expand my hiking season with a stove!

I plan to buy one during the sale as well to replace my 15 year old north face talus 2 person tent that is tattered and has bent poles as well as a weight of about 5 pounds .

It's pretty much a symmetric, 9' diameter circular footprint and 64" high. I dunno if Seekoutside makes a bathtub floor for it or if you can use one of their nests for what you want to do. I'd hit 'em up with the Q's when you order :)
