Beyond has a pretty good Black Friday sale going on right now--35% off most items; those in Outlet do not receive additional discount. I picked up their Alpha Aura Jacket, a Polartec Alpha Direct with nylon reinforced shoulders and hood, 186 gram per square meter jacket--site says is the warmest and thickest version of the material. Price is $179.99 minus the 35% discount calculated in check-out. Freight is prepaid on $150 dollar orders. Did you use this much?
I wouldn't be opposed to the heavyweight version of alpha direct, and frankly it seems that the heavyweight would shine in a naked version.

Outdoor Research occasionally has even deeper discounted flash sales. They had one last week in Instagram that was more than 50% some items. Good gear for the money if you know what you’re looking for.
