Any new wiz bang scope rings out there that would offer an advantage (size-weight-grip-etc) over nf ultralite's on a hunting rifle? 34mm

I've had great luck with the Burris Signature XTR's. The live center design is slick. It allows for adding inclination and they grip large, heavy scopes exceedingly well.

Nothing wrong with the NF rings. I've used a couple sets; they're hard to beat.

It’s hard for me to use anything other than ARC rings now. Little big and a little heavy but holy moly are they easy to work with and they are robust.
I sure like the design of those m-brace rings but they weigh more than steel rings

If it’s going on a picatinny rail it’s ARC rings for me. I don’t care if they are two ounces more. They are simple and solid.

ARC is awesome.

I have all my 34's in Spuhrs or the Italian copycat or Tier One.

Tier One do a lighter weight ring as well.

Hawkins get a lot of hype, but they are made from cheap 6061 aluminum. See photo.

7075 aluminum is the way to go, and I agree with others, ARC can’t be beat. They make scope mounting a breeze.

I had a set of hybrids come loose last year wonder if this was the cause?

I dug out those rings and took a look at them, it may be hard to see in pics but definitely the problem.

Yes as if screws are beginning to pulling through the bottom of ring cap. Iirc these were torqued 22-23inlb (on lite 300wm with heavy glass) with purple loctite. So technically wet torque was probably at or slightly over manufacturers specs.
