I sure like the design of those m-brace rings but they weigh more than steel ringsIt’s hard for me to use anything other than ARC rings now. Little big and a little heavy but holy moly are they easy to work with and they are robust.

I had a set of hybrids come loose last year wonder if this was the cause?Hawkins get a lot of hype, but they are made from cheap 6061 aluminum. See photo.
7075 aluminum is the way to go, and I agree with others, ARC can’t be beat. They make scope mounting a breeze.
I dug out those rings and took a look at them, it may be hard to see in pics but definitely the problem.
