I never remember to take pictures of my deer and just me but wanted to share this one with my family. Not a bad weekend in my book for public land deer in Arkansas!

Me and my brother haven't shot a buck in a few years. But after hard hunting all year we both got the job done within hours of each other! Management paying off at last.

These are some great bucks but the picture doesn't do them justice.

I only think both bucks side by side on the ground would be have looked better than the back of truck bed. Congratulations on some great bucks

My vote goes to the young lady above.

I still have to show off my second public land east Texas buck of the season. I'm all tagged out until late muzzleloader!

My Son's 2016 Idaho Buck. Little lopsided but still a trophy to us. 2 mile pack out.

I arrowed this buck Saturday morning on public land just outside of San Angelo, Texas... my first public land whitetail with archery gear.

I started rattling a little before 8am. After my 3rd set, I noticed this buck coming from my left at 100 yards. He had his nose to the ground on the trail I had walked in on way before daylight. I shot a little doe-in-heat scent on my boots before the walk in and he picked it up like a bird dog.

I came to full draw when he got to 50 yards, gave a "myaaap" when he got to 25 and let one fly. The impact sounded like a sledgehammer to the chest. I knew he was done. I watched him pile up less than 80 yards from the POI.
