Best way to repackage Freeze dried meals/Cook in backcountry

I use the same mylar bag from one of the meals I had, if you worry about it getting nasty, a quick rinse in boiling water and your good to go.

Not eating from ziplocs after adding boiling water to them! No thank you.

FYI the inside of Mylar bags are made of plastic as well.

For those trying to avoid plastics and the estrogenic hormones that are leached: you may want to look into a 1L pot made out of stainless or titanium, like the vargo bot HD. Boil water in it, dump your freezer dried meal in, stir, put in a cozy and eat. Downside is you gotta clean the pot out, and it's a lot easier than cleaning a used mylar bag like some have suggested.
