Last year I just strapped my bow to my backpack and it was just okay. This method did rattle some things loose and I would like to blame my miss on a nice coues buck at 40 yards on the sight
. I'm not opposed to doing this again and taking more time to check over all my components. I do have a nicer bike this year so I suppose it would rattle less anyways.
However, I was wondering what other ways are out there that might be better. I looked at montana scabbards but I came across a forum somewhere where they worked with QR axles not thru axles? I've also thought about a bike trailer since I'll need to get one for the little one on the way at some point anyways... but I would rather not have the bulk (water crossings) and probably would get in trouble getting it bloody
