Best way to carry bow on bike?

Last year I just strapped my bow to my backpack and it was just okay. This method did rattle some things loose and I would like to blame my miss on a nice coues buck at 40 yards on the sight ;). I'm not opposed to doing this again and taking more time to check over all my components. I do have a nicer bike this year so I suppose it would rattle less anyways.

However, I was wondering what other ways are out there that might be better. I looked at montana scabbards but I came across a forum somewhere where they worked with QR axles not thru axles? I've also thought about a bike trailer since I'll need to get one for the little one on the way at some point anyways... but I would rather not have the bulk (water crossings) and probably would get in trouble getting it bloody

I’ve ridden miles and miles with both setups and prefer the handlebar mounts. However, if you’re on trails, lashed to the pack is the way to go. Tighten everything proper and it won’t rattle loose.
