Best thermal scope with lrf around 4k

I don't know that there is a 'best'. But I use Pulsar and iRay (now NocPix) and have been happy with them.

I've been using the 384 version of this. Granted its my first scope but man it works nicely. I'm identifying rabbits over 200 yards away. I identified a herd of bedded elk at 1,100 yards last night. The LRF is spot on. The button layout is the best I've seen. So easy to use in the dark. I have three guns set up on it and can move this from one to the other no problem. We have started to use it as a handheld, then attach it to the gun when we are going to make a stalk.

I have a thread sharing my experiences. Heading out tonight, either for rabbits or coyote. Depends on the wind. Hopefully I will have a vid to post.

I run a nocpix ace50r and it's incredible. I saw they're on sale right now for 5k. If I was in the market today with a 4k budget, I would find a way to make it 5k

I got a nocpix ace h50. I opted to not go with the rf model but man its sweet. If your running on an AR the Rico would probably be able better fit. RIX dbh6/ leap l6r also worth a look. Basically any of them with a optical zoom.

If getting a tube style scope and weight is a concern, the agm adder v2 lrfs are pretty light in comparison to the others.
