I bought the Kowa 773 used on here almost a year ago. And now I almost feel like a Kowa fan boy. Every time one of my friends ask me about spotters, I point them to the Kowa line up as well.

I just purchased a Leupold Mark 4 12x40x60 spotting scope. I think it is outstanding for the price. The Leupold GR 12x40x60 HD is excellent if you do not want/need a reticle.

These are neat scopes. And not mentioned but they strike a great size/weight balance between the 28oz mini spotters and the 50oz 65mm full size spotters.

I had one for a few years but I didn’t like how stiff the focus was. Other than that it was stellar.
