Best slider sight...are there differences?

I've currently got the Dialed Pruf and I am in absolute love. I personally hate horizontal pins and love the way a vertial pin looks. But I always missed having extra aiming points. The 3 pin vertical has solved that for me. My pins fell at 20 34 and 46 ish which is about exactly where I wanted them to be. The only thing i have heard is that the pins might not be the brightest so still waiting to test that out. but otherwise i might buy their light

A guy a couple weeks ago lost his entire mbg sight housing when the dovetail broke. How's the warranty help when you're 6 hours from the truck and a full day away from an archery shop?
It doesn't, that's why you should have a backup.

If I'm going out of state for anything I bring backups. Rifles. Muzzleloaders. Bows. They can all break, and it always seems to happen at the most inopportune time. I'm a Washington resident so I can't just go buy a gun from a shop. Theres no guarantee that any of the shops around will be able to fix my bow, or even have something I could buy(or would be interested in spending my money on).

My first line of defense is buying things that are known to be tough. The next line is bringing a backup. If something breaks on that I'd be boned :ROFLMAO:

Back on topic -

I've had good luck with a variety of MBGs, and recently I made the move to a Boonie that is just phenomenal. I don't think the pins are as bright as the MBGs but it's close enough.

Anyone have followers up on their Accel sight after season? Any issues with slider not locking down good/being able to slip or move?

I run the canyon pounder and love it. Tried the sh boonie on my back up bow this year great sight but my eyes don’t like the sight tape on the dial. Think I’m going to try the axel driver this year. There’s nothing that I don’t like about that sight.
On another note even spot Hogg sights break. Not sure what happened but my brothers broke off where the scope mounts. And we were packed in 17miles on horseback. Made for a long day riding out to get it fixed and back in.

I am debating which way to go now, but will most likely be picking up a Driver. I just cannot decide if I want the Accustat II housing, the AVX 41 housing, or what pin diameter I want. I've used Spot Hogg Fest Eddies for who know how long. They are very well built sights, but I want to get some weight off the top of my bow, and bring the sight in a little closer to the riser. I know what the .010 and .019 look like on a SH, but not sure how bright they are on the Axcel.

I’ve had a MG mountain light and now have a SH fast Eddie PM most recently.
I like the BG better but the gears in the dial have worn out after 5 years of use. I’m going to send it in for repair and go back to it once it’s fixed.
The SH is definitely tougher and I like most of the things about it but, the housing is a bit bigger so I can’t get the same distance as the BG and the way you have to set the pins on the MRT scope is absolutely stupid.
Because they don’t just move up and down, every time you make an elevation adjustment, it changes your windage. Once you line up the pin with the center wire, you’ve affected your elevation. You have to keep going back and forth tweaking things until you get it right. If it wasn’t so close to the hunting season when my BG wore out, I would have shipped the SH back.
After sighting in the SH, I don’t know why anyone would want to use that scope.

I do agree that style of scope is tedious. I had a Triple Stack, and that was much nicer... that is of course only if you are OK with vertical pins.

I love mine. Love how light and smooth it is. I put an RM3D wheel on it and couldn't be happier. Ryan makes an awesome product that totally enhances how the sight works. And it looks cool too. I am regularly shooting tight groups at 80yds with tons of room to go down further. If I drop down to 150 points it'll go alot further. Rx9u 70lb (71.2) 30" Dl, 300 victory hlr. Wish it came with a few more of the faster tapes.

I may buy a triple stack and give it a try. I love the idea of vertical pins. I did add a fourth pin to my BG mountain lite and loved it, 5 was too many and 3 wasn’t quite enough but I’m going to try the new 5.0 and cut some arrow weight compared to the axis 5.0. Maybe I’ll be able to get enough distance with 3 pins.
