Slayer is a unique band because any opening band just gets in their way and who the hell does Slayer open for?? They are kind of an entity unto themselves. and the fact they’ve been around so long is friggin amazing. I only wish Dave Lombardo was still drumming. That guy is as unique a drummer as Slayer is a band. He truly is a savant. Check out his work with Fantomas.

Haven’t really listened to Bohemoth. Have seen some concert footage with the dude puking up blood and it’s a little comic/silly. Slayer is just flat-out melt your face off - which I dig.

Their cover of Richard Hung Himself is pretty great too.
Behemoth puts on a great performance. I've seen them twice. Full garb with the pyro and everything is awesome

I’ve seen Slayer a bunch of times from the 90’s till just a few years ago. One of my favorite shows they played a little club in Detroit called harpos and played reigning blood album. It was ******* brutal. I had a Slayer t shirt and a megedeth concert Shit that I always wore hunting. I called them my lucky hunting shirts. Usually think of the song hollowed point when I have a firearm.
