Probably the best range I’ve been to is Rock Lake in Eastern Washington. I’ve been a member there for a few years and absolutely love it.

They have a mile range! I might have to join for 6 months to go try my hand at that distance. Problem is it is 6 hours away from me.

Both private, snowshoe has a 1000 yard range with a shooting house that has a wood stove in it. Wood provided!

Twisted Barrel Precision - Little Rock, AR

Unfortunately, our public access is extremely wooded.

In the top picture... what are you aiming at? How do you check the accuracy of your load when you cant even walk to the target??? Thanks!

Attend 3 Monthly meetings (2+ hrs long, hr drive 1 way for me to get there), get a member to sponsor you, Do a guided range tour. Initial membership fee is pretty healthy. Then, if you forget to renew before Jan 1st, you have to do all that shit again and pay the healthy first time fee again. I forgot to renew timely one year and wasn't about to burn 16+ hrs and pay the fee again when i only went there a few times a year.

I’m convinced gopher is such a PITA, because they can be. Not that they need to be or maybe want to be, just because they can knowing there ain’t jack shit for places to shoot here…. I’ve driven to the border range to shoot to a 1000 before f’ing around trying to get into gopher
