Looking at Sigs and Leupolds but open to suggestions - anyone have any recommendations for a good, reliable RF - don't really want to spend over $400.
Mainly bowhunt- but would like to be able to range a deer out to 500 or so for rifle but max distance doesn't need to go over 1000 yds as I don't really shoot long distance.
Looking for angle compensation and would prefer something waterproof if possible.
Appreciate any and all feedback!
TIA

I took advantage of Doug's deal last week. Excellent buy on an amazing rangefinder. I was ranging rocks out to over 1800 yards. The optics on the Leica are excellent as well.

Sig Sauer I have a 2200 and had the 2000 not sure if the 2000 is still available but both are fantastic very fast range measurements and very accurate as near as my guns can tell. I also had both generations of the g7 rangefinder that I sold to keep the sig just worked better in most situations I compared them in 400 dollars vs 1700 a lot of price between the two and the sig was better!

Just picked up a Sig Kilo2200 today, and my initial impression is outstanding. Especially after pairing with my phone and entering in ballistics data, pulled up a range at 617yds and it gave me my bullet drop in MOA. Compared it to Strelok and 4DOF and it was right in the money. Super fast readings too.
