Best Rangefinder under $300

I’m between a few rangefinders right now and would like to hear your opinions. The options are the new Leupold RX-1400i TBR/W, the Vortex Impact 1000, the Sig Sauer KILO1000BDX, and the Bushnell Prime 1700. I’m using this for both archery and rifle shooting. I like the fact that the Leupold and Vortex are waterproof but if the Sig or Bushnell has more accurate readings or angle compensation then I’d be all for it. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

It looks like you can get the kilo1600bdx for 300 at sportsman’s.

I think i paid like $200 for a used sig kilo2000 that has been my faithful archery rangefinder for a few years. A 1600bdx with onboard ballistic calculator would be more beneficial for rifle hunting especially if you're dialing.

I would make sure a BDX does angle compensation at archery ranges though. I dont think my Kilo2400ABS does angle compensation inside 100 yards which is why i have the kilo2000 as well.

Seems like Sig is taking this one but can anyone second the fact that the 1000BDX or 1600BDX can’t do angle compensation inside 100 yards? If that’s the case it’s a deal breaker for me.

I have an 1800bdx and it does angle comp for all yardage. I doubt the others are different.

I looked at them all. Bought a Sig 1800 BDX and have no regrets. My old one is a Leupold it has continued to work flawlessly for many years. Time will tell on the Sig.
