Best place to buy Darn Tough?

Looking to buy some darn tough for my upcoming Montana elk hunt, any place they usually go on sale?

Also, how many pairs do you think I need for a 6 day hunt? Packing in on horses so weight/pack space not a issue.

Last time I purchased some I didn't see any sales and ended up getting them from Amazon with no shipping. If space and weight isn't an issue then I would bring a pair per day, no reason to put on crusty day old socks if you don't have to.

Thanks guys! looks like they are on sale at REI. Thinking about pairing the hiker boot sock cushion with Cabelas liner sock, any other suggestions?

I run them without a liner, but it all depends on what your feet like.

For 6 days via horseback I'd bring 6 pairs. The horse won't notice the difference.

Who ever has them the cheapest. Figure out which sock you want and Google search it.

Might not help much now, but in the future keep an eye on massdrop. I got 4 pairs for around 45 bucks I think.

AMAZON always has them - I wear the high top ones that have a multi-color sculpture like look to them, very happy with them down to low 20's

I just purchased 4 pair for my Moose hunt and ended up buying them through a Amazon.
