Best phone for app maps. iphone or android?

Im in the market for a new phone. Have been on android phones for 15yrs. Im wanting to know if everyone here prefers iphone or android when hunting and using phone as a gps for week long hunts. Ive had trouble with no 3D maps on android apps, except gaia may have figured it out.

What are your opinions on software and battery life for both platforms?

Well, since everyone was quiet, I got a 13 pro max. The 3D maps on all the apps work on it

Iphone is better with onX when you have many hundreds of waypoints, androids memory and onX don't/haven't gotten along very well.

3d maps only work when you have service, a feature I'll never use.
