What’s the best phone case to keep an IPhone XR in good shape ? The waterproof case I had on my iPhone 6 no one could here me on . Drop resistant and somewhat weather proof . No super slim cases that break the screen .

Thanks for the suggestions .

Can’t beat an otter box defender for maximum protection. I dropped my phone 25’ onto concrete with 0 damage. 2 phones, 3 years each and they both looked like new coming out of the case. It’s probably one of the most overbuilt case out there but it sounds like that’s what you want. I currently run a x-doria which is slimmer and strong but not otter box

I've been looking for the same thing for my Samsung S10. You'll have better luck as more cases are built specifically for iphones.

One to consider, although it doesn't offer any weather protection, is the Juggernaut IMPCT. It has an enormous lip and was built with the military in mind. I've order one for my S10 but it hasn't arrived so I can't comment on it beyond what is on their website.

Another option is the Ghostek Nautical Extreme Waterproof.

There is a guy on YouTube who is excellent and does lots of thoughtful and experienced reviews of smartphone cases. Here are some of his videos about various iphone XR cases. I think he recommends the Griffin Survivor Extreme.

Here is a video about Juggernaut although the one in this video is their original case which is not made for the XR. Only the IMPCT case is which is not waterproof.

I just bought the Ghostek and it’s heavy With the aluminum. Fits really tight though. I had problems with people not being able to hear me on lifeproofs in the past on older iPhone models. Ever since they started making the iPhones water resistant, I’ve used Magpul but changed it up with the XR.

cell phone case manufacturers
anyone have any recommendations on iPhone 13 cases?...one that protects the phone from accidental drops, resistant to fingerprints/scratches and looks good from a cosmetic standpoint...

I have an Otterbox on my 13 and really like it. Not too bulky, rubberized for good grip I wish they still offered one in orange though. This is black and not as easy to find at a glance.

I still love my old man wallet phone case. I got it for $10 on eBay four years and it’s still running strong. I don’t give a flyin fart if it doesn’t look trendy or what others think— it works for me.

Mous phone case. Add a glass screen cover and you are GTG.
100% this ^^^^^! I used to do the Otterbox, and then the Lifeproof. Got tired of the size of the cases and terrible plastic screen covering. An iPhone 13 is already waterproof. You just need scratch and drop protection. The Mous case is the simplest and cleanest setup for me. Buy the lifetime glass protection screen from Bestbuy and they will replace as much as needed for free. I have broken the glass screen cover 3 times. Never paid a penny to get replaced. And the Mous case prevented any damage to the phone itself.

I have had the best luck with otterbox. I currently have the model that doesn't have the bumpers on the corners. Protects my phone but still easy to slide in and out of my pocket. My last one had the bumpers and it was bulletproof but made the phone a bit hard to work with getting out of my pocket. When I get a new phone I will try and buy the same case from otter.

One I've been real fond of due to my needs is the quadlock system. Drop protection and that's about it. I use it for their mounting system. I'm a big nav guy while driving and I love to have my phone mounted up. Could be a bike, sxs, truck, tripod, etc.

No hearing issues and it's sleek, doesn't get caught up in pockets.

I have used and abused the defender. They have an outstanding warranty too.
