Best Pack

Looking for a great pack under $500 for elk hunting in Colorado. Want to be able to camp bivvvy style a day or two but more importantly have a pack I can comfortably haul out bone in quarters.

Under 500 I’d look for a used pack In the classifieds here or a mystery ranch sale. Most new, high end packs are going to be closer to 700 bucks.

At least 2 of these has enough space for 7+ days. Fantastic quality and service. Can’t say enough good things about their packs. Am presently running a Saker.

Exo Mt Gear. I have over 500 miles on mine, done 8 day trips and hauled numerous animals a year with it. I wouldn't wear another pack.

I researched packs for a few weeks and ended up buying a kuiu pro system setup with a 3600 bag. It is quite the upgrade from my alps outdoorz commander pack frame. With a $50 discount from Kuiu, It was just under $500 after taxes.
