I’m 5’5 and I am wondering what other vertically challenged guys are using for your packs? I’d like a frame style that I can swap bags on. Kifaru, Kuiu, etc. Main use will be backpack camping and hauling out meat quarters. Whats the best you’ve found?

I can imagine the kifaru 22” would work well, I believe that’s for people below 5’8”. Mystery ranch have some very adjustable frames as well. I’m taller, but I have a short torso and I like the mystery ranch stuff myself.

Of course the best option is going to be to try each pack on with some weight in it.

EXO small or extra small would be my recommendation. Call the office and talk with them, and they will get you squared away.

Kifaru or Mystery if you really feel you need a custom. Eberlestock still works well for me.

When buying a new backpack, torso length is the most important measurement to make sure that it will fit.

What’s up shorty??

I haven’t tried on any other packs to compare but I use the Kuiu frame suspension system with the S/M suspension size with the Regular size frame and I find it pretty comfortable. Would be interesting to try out some other packs though.

(And I’m 5’6 by the way lol)
