Best "old" 4x4 truck for hunting? $5k range.

Thats a clean lil rig.

What all did you have to do to get things up to snuff?

Car had bad mouse piss smell as it has been sitting in a field for 3 years.
took out all seats and shampooed carpet and seats.
removed rear seats and cut out seatbelts.
Removed headliner and found where the mice lived for years. (gag)
change o2 sensor to turn off engine light.
Engine and trans check, AC re-charge, from shop.
Air and oil filters. Lube, and oil change
Power steering fluid. Coolant change and radiator cap.
HVAC blower motor
steering wheel cover
locking gas cap
lift gate bumper stops and hatch struts
wipers, front and rear
transmission mount
new rear bumper and L side panel
painted and installed used OEM towing hitch. (mint)
broke down going up mountain and again in a drive-thru, so, installed a relay and switch to the electric fan to prevent vapor lock (fuel rail heat soak) Problem solved. (Very common in these models) Also, only use non ethanal 91 fuel as ethanol causes heat soak in these)
scraped very old window tint off all windows. (after 2 days-came out mint)
removed wheels and all trim, sanded and painted.
Weathertech floor mats for front
various interior plastic parts
Finally got 4 tires which are 30's. largest possible with stock height
today, new front end parts, sway bars and bushings.
12 ton bottle jack for under that box area.

and much more planned .......
