Best manufacturer for 300 prc

Both have had QC issues at least in the past. There is a thread here on Rokslide about a Fierce being sent to customer that had no rifeling. Maybe someone will link it; it makes for interesting reading. I have not kept up with either company.

I am on my 2nd 300 PRC from Christensen Arms. Yes, the first one (Mesa) had to be sent back for a re-barrel. When got it back, it shot 3/4 moa. My 2nd 300 PRC (Ridgeline FFT) shoots the same right out of the box or better. It depends how I'm shooting that day.

I have two PRC Brownings, both are tits.

A lighter trigger spring ($15) and you're off to the races.

My buddy is left handed and left eye dominant, trying to help him out. We’ve looked at a few, Christensen and fierce. Thanks for the help.

Fierce............

Some people swear by Chevy, others Ford. Like my Dad used to say, there's a reason they make 31 flavors of ice cream. So for what it's worth, I can only share experience with 300 PRC I have:

Christiansen Arms MPR: Good. Not great for me, around 1¼ groups, but good enough.
Fierce Carbon Rage: Better. Inch to ¾, so full confidence in the field.
Custom: Best. Built with Terminus Kratos, folding MDT carbon, diamond trigger, proof carbon barrel. One of only three genuine tack drivers in inventory (the others being a couple Sauer & Sohn 6.5 PRC).

Definetly not Fierce.

Christensen is debatable.

If you want a R700 platform then Seekins.

Me personally I would build off a Howa action, likely buy a 300prc and re barrel it immediately.

Honestly you can take a dozen rifles made by the same manufacturer and they will all shoot a little different to some extent.

I don't think that the caliber makes any difference as to which manufacturer may be better.
