Best Hunting Magazine (Print)

I’m tired of always looking at the screen and would love to subscribe to a good western hunting magazine, print version. Western Hunter is obviously an option, but I wanted to see if you all have any other favorites that I should consider.

I enjoy Traditional Bowhunter, Strung, Bowhunter is still decent but ads dominate but I still like the articles.

I used to get Eastmans hunting journal and enjoyed it… it’s mostly western big game hunting.

Bugle (RMEF), Western Hunter and since I am an NRA Life Member, I also get the American Hunter.

Western hunter was my fave. Eastmans was good. Not sure if any are still around. I have been thinking about recycling most of my old magazines if you are interested.

huntingfool still does one and seems to be pretty informative. you can also subscribe and get a lot more out of their website.

I still get the crappy American Rifleman. Neither the format or the articles have changed in 40 years

Peterson's, Bowhunter, and American Hunter are the 3 that I've had for many years now

Boone and Crocket magazine usually has an article from Wayne Van Zwoll and Craig Boddington. Both are interesting.

Bugle is ok.

Sports Afield is really great.

Don Jr. Trump's Field Ethos is awesome

Man Magnum is great, it's about 80% in English and 20% in Afrikaans.

There are a ton of Safari Oriented magazines, they are all really great.
