Hey, just wondering if anyone's found a decent hot weather hat for archery hunts during August-Sept. Looking for something that will cover my ears and keep me cool. Anything that has worked for you?

Tilley air-flow. It's not camo but up in a tree it don't matter so much.

I wear a ventilated brimmed hat I picked up from Boot Barn, looking in the brim its from Henshel Hat Co. I wear it all the time here in AZ

I was looking at those brimmed hats, they look nice for keeping the sun off. I'll check out all of those that posted replies, thanks!

I have the REI knockoff of an outdoor research wide-brimmed hat. I don't know the model but I wear it nearly every day at work and whenever I'm fishing/hiking etc. I always wore a regular boonie hat in the past and this has been a major upgrade. I plan on using it for most of my early season hunts this year.

Check out mission cooling stuff. I bought a neck gaiter and liked it enough to buy the camo hat. If water is readily available, keep it wet and it cools. If not it soaks up the sweat and cools.
Comes in camo.
There's a skull cap you could put under an existing hat...if you like skull caps

Original kuiu Tiburon hat was good. Basically I prefer any hat that can absorb at my forhead and breathe with either mesh holes or Tiburon style holes for the top. Too many hats don't absorb at the for head causing more sweat to drip down on the face.

I have the OR Transit Sun Hat. Tons of venting and pretty short brim. May need to check out the Kuiu.

Been using the OR Sombriolet Sun Hat. Great on scouting trips but the back brim seems to get in the way (e.g. straps from packs/harnesses seem to get caught) during transitions. Been rollin' with a nicely built trucker hat and a shemagh lately and it works out well. Keeps sun/glare off me/binos.
