Best glue for recoil pad

Hi all,

I pulled the recoil pad off my Stocky’s carbon fiber stock to measure it so I can 3D print some spacers. According to the website the pad is only screwed on, but this one was lightly glued, and a little of the rubber started to come away from the plastic plate while I was gorilla wrenching it to get it off.


Anyone had something like this happen before? Any suggestions of a glue that would attach the rubber back to the plastic plate and not melt either?

Shoe goo seems to stick to most things, but I can’t remember ever going directly onto plastic with it, so IDK.

dribble some superglue in there and call it a day

Rubberized super glue. Loctite Black Max or the cheaper Bob Smith Industries.

This is what i used on my rokstok pad that was peeling off similarly. So far so good.
