You can shoot them at any reasonable distance though. Some guys shoot them at 600 yards to look for a vertical “node” between charge weights, but that’s above my pay grade lol
A few minutes into the video I realized he's essentially doing an Audette-style ladder test (that's normally done at longer ranges) at 100 yards. I used to be a big believer in doing load development that way but when rigorously tested they quickly fall apart due to small sample variability. I'm not going back down that road again.
