Best Elknut podcasts?

I've got a hunting buddy who needs to get educated on calling. I've sent him the Exo podcast "The Elknut Returns" which I think is one of the best podcasts ever...any other recommendations on good podcasts I can send to him? I'm specifically looking for advice on the slow play sequence.

Hes on a lot of them. Use the search function in your podcast app and search Paul Medel. A few dozen come up on mine.

The Rich Outdoors ep 158 was good, but like I have stated in the past the Nut talks fast for this slow Texas fella, so I had to listen to it a couple of times. Now that I think about it I can slow him down to half speed on the podcast thing....see slow.... He has some you tube videos out as well but I haven't watched those.

I listen to his podcasts over and over and over. The guy is pure gold. Have him get the ElkNut app, it’s $10!
Talked with my hunting partner who hunted the opener, called in a bull with slow play but wouldn’t come any closer or didn’t move for a while, only 30 yds but it was thick. So he said, what would the ElkNut do...call his way to the bull as a cow. So he did, he said it was exactly like Paul said, he anchored all the way to 10 yds. He was there for 5 minutes trying to get an arrow thru the brush before he slowly walked away. He said he knew the bull knew he was not an elk but was so tranced by thinking a cow was right there wanting him he never budged.
Now some bulls are dumber than others, my point is we never would have tried that maneuver if it wasn’t for ElkNut.

Lol. That’s why they I invented the speed option, for Texans. Randy newberg and Corey Jacobson sounded like cheech and chong when I tried it. you can also search elknut and some good ones pop up.

From the Elk Nut stuff I have listened to, he feels most don't call enough. You just have to do the right call at the right time. The app is great too.

Looked at the app again this morning and low and behold, the first one I opened up was the nervous grunt. Boy I love this sound. Particularly as a solo hunter. I've stopped them on a dime for the shot, and believe it or not, I've called elk in using this sound on hung up bulls. What a great sound!

I stopped a bull dead in his tracks with it after a musket cap popped 15 yards from his face. He came back too leery for another shot but I was till amazed. My wife thought I was nuts. Elknuts?

It's true I do have enthusiasm in the podcasts I've been a part of, no way would I apologize for the passion that overwhelms me when I talk about elk & elk calling tactics! I live for hunting & calling elk in close especially on those OTC bulls.

Rob, when it comes to finding elk; hunters flat do not call enough, most are intimidated to call when it's needed most. Others call when the call should be holstered. We have to understand the elk we are hunting & what type of terrain we are hunting, these are important aspects that need to be considered. When hunting dark timber or fairly tight or thick country during Sept & you forbid to call then you are handcuffing yourself & your odds of success will drop dramatically. Thanks for your comments!

You've inspired many of us despite a few naysayers Paul! The proof is in the pudding. I'm extremely thankful I found you and the PlayBook back in 2008 after my first elk hunt. It kick-started an instant addiction I had discovered after my first elk hunt.

The passion and love of elk hunting is addicting. Who knows? I may still be sitting on a ridge somewhere with only a hoochie mama had I not found your material. (I called a herd bull in on that first hunt with that call lol) started my addiction.

Learning about all the different sounds elk make opened up a whole new elk universe for me. It also opened up the door to success. Yes I'm still screwing up different scenarios, but each experience teaches me something new. Elk are great teachers and I'm trying to be a great student. And a student of the elk game.

Keep doing what you're doing Paul!

The Got Game Tech podcasts are the ones with the information organized the best in my opinion.

I can tell you that using those ElkNut strategies Up here in the pine tree jungle works very well. You gotta be right on top of ‘em for them to talk back, but they’ll do it.
