Looking to cerakote some parts to match the matte stainless receiver of my Tikka roughtech. Any insight?

Cerakote makes three stainless colors:
C-129 Stainless “rich pewter metallic”
H-152 Stainless “dark pewter grey with a silver metallic”
H-150 Savage Stainless “smoky grey with a fine silver metallic”

Yeah I just don’t have the rifle yet. I can wait but I was hoping this was just a known thing.
I don’t know, but I will have Cerakote chip samples in a few weeks and could check. I am starting to do Cerakote through a local friends shop. PM me a follow up after Christmas if you didn’t get your answer.

I would not try to “match” it. Instead, choose an accent color you like. Whenever something is close but not quite right, it bothers most brains. Some OCD brains more. Also, even while the “color” could be a perfect match the reflective quality won’t be. If you at all tend to OCD, you may be doomed, lol. Fortunately for me, my OCD side notices but my ADHD side forgets, squirrel!! And, my personal standards for my stuff is low, lol.

I hate it when I do stuff that others don’t like, so I have always avoided trying for the perfect match. I have done painting and design on the side quite a bit. I also started college to be an artist, lol, and I learned color theory and how to use it to affect eh brain. I know, I know...

So, I never suggest trying to match something closely, my suggestion is always to be close, but not too close. Pick a bit darker grey or a color that matches the stock.

If it were me, I would pick a color that stands out. But, many might question my taste in colors…. But at least I have @mxgsfmdpx on my side.

I like orange because I lose shit all the time. I even lost a Jeep one time, and getting to a high knob and glassing up a bright orange Jeep is easy 😂
