Best Cartidge for Ultralight Sheep Rifle?

6.5 Swede in a fast twist barrel? Only a suggestion. A modern sleek missile of a bullet in a medium weight should knock sheep down. I know, not shiny and new enough I suppose. Not trendy at all. Just a thought from a boomer that thinks a lot of that cartridge.
Look at the Hobbit Rifle and Ultralight Ultralight threads. Perhaps a single shot in 6.5X55 could be the ticket? Be Well Brothers, The Bearded Gnome.

The problem with all the break actions is they're significantly heavier than the light bolt guns.

For what its worth, I sheep hunt all over BC yearly. My 7PRC shooting 180's has been a great rifle but I currently am following the Tikka fad as it seems to make sense.

6.5lb Tikka 6CM (scoped) should be in my hands in 2 months and I fully intend on taking it for both stones and bighorn this year. It may even see a caribou hunt too...
