A good used one

Consider a flagship model that's a couple years old and wasn't super popular, but still very high quality. Ebay is loaded with used bows.
Consider:
Mathews Z7
Mathews Drenalin
Mathews No Cam
Mathews x y and z
Elite Answer
Etc.
Don't discount some very well established lower priced bows such as, the PSE Stinger, or PSE Brute. The Stinger is a very accurate and forgiving bow.
There's a Mathews Switchback being sold here in the for sale section and it is going for $300.
