Thanks for all the responses. I was busy with the holidays work and am just getting back to the business of getting my archery equipment.

I have narrowed my search down to two sights.

The first is the HHA single pin and the Spott hog Tommy hog single pin or three pin.

My first question is: is the Tommy hog difficult to store in an archery case (i.e. do you have to dismantle it)?

My second question is: Is it better to get the three pin and sight in at 20, 30, 40 yards and use the dial wheel for farther distances or with the new fast bows is it just as good to use one pin out to, say, 40 yards because of the flatter tragectory with the faster bows?

I went to the multiple pin sites so I did not have to adjust the pins/wheels at critical times when the animal moved, but it seems many are doing well with the one pin in the housing. I do say I prefer the clean and consitent site picture but dont like the having to move the dial if it hard to do under fast changing conditions or you have to take your eye off the target animal.

I welcome any final coments between these two set ups and and the pros, cons of single versus 3 pins before I decide. These sights are both quality but expensive and I hope to use others experience before I buy so I don't end up changing later on and spending more $$$ . . .

Let really like my CBE Tec Hybrid for the reason that I have a 20 30 40 without any adjustments. Would hate to set a single pin sight to 40, draw back and have an animal come into say 20 yards well at full draw. That's the reason I went with a 3 pin.

no reason to disassemble tommy when putting bow in a case, I don't find it bulkier than my 7 pin hunter hogg-it. I went with three pin tommy so that I don't have to move it a the critical time. I haven't played with it at long distances yet but I might just go to two pins. 25 and 45 would have me covered for any animal in range then I can dial to whatever for practice.

Spot hogg just realized the fast eddie and I like it. The tommy has a micro adjust knob that makes small changes but the know needs t be pulled towards you to engage the large wheel. When this is done it makes an audible "click" loud enough to scare a deer within 30 yrs. If you are careful you can move the know slowly and it makes no "click". Or you can just leave the knob in the engage position but the site can move pretty easy like that. The new Fast Eddie solves this. You can screw a knob in or out that allows you to adjust the tension on the movement of the site. You can just leave it snugged up that allows you to still adjust the site with the wheel or you can screw it in tight to look the sight in place. The improvement that I see is that it is all silent and a little more user friendly to adjust your sight at the moment of truth.

The other new product from spot hogg is a single up pin with two aiming dots. Its a single pin but also has a lower fiber to give another aiming point.

I just bought a tommy hogg. Plan is to run it at 30 - 40 - 50 and then have the adjustment to longer ranges for follow up shots if needed.

here is the latest.

I was looking at the HHA king pin which is $350 - yes that is in us currency and not pesos!

I have heard people say the the second axis adjustment is problematic. I don't know what they are referring to. I have used an HHA slider sight in the past and may go to this king pin.
Lastly, I was unalble to hold, feel or otherwise insect a tommy hogg in person. I called the company and they said I could special order one with the new fast eddy single pin (with a second pin lower on the single pin - whats on the fast eddy - and it is bulletproof and wrapped) My understanding the single pin on the tommy hog is not the bulletproof pin. It retails for $200-$250. I have heard it said that the pins on the single pin tommy is not as bright as the HHA but I have not been able to see one.

I am off to my local Scheels to check other options right now.

I am able to buy the HHA at scheels but I will have to special order the tommy Hogg which will take 4 weeks.

I appreciate any final thoughts before I buy.

I picked up a kingpin about a week ago. Liking it so far. It is a little on the heavy side but not bad. The 2nd axis adjusts just like the Montana Black Gold with 2 screws on the front, one of the holes is slotted to allow adjustment, works great. The horizontal adjustment is just like their other sights and works well, no tools required. Over all a very solid sight. I used to shoot a Boss Hogg.

Just installed my HHA this past wkend, was simple to set up and sight in, adjustments are smooth and fast, only complaint is all the yardages are dead on except for 80yds other than that I really like mine. I have used several multi pins and this is my second single as far as I am concerned will only shoot single pin sights from now on, just my personal preference to each is their own.
