I just picked up the new HD-R Geovid, this is basically the HD-B without the sd card slot which I wouldn't use.

Love the bincs, but I'm curious as to what bino harness to get...the XL kuiu is too small, I checked already.
Thoughts? Opinions? What are you Leica guys using?

I don't have the geovids but I like my FHF a lot more than my kuiu harness

I just got a set of those in to do some comparison testing. Those are a pretty massive unit...will see if they fit in my Sitka Bino Bivy and report back. That's not a bad case, my Duovids fit in it snugly.

I have used badlands, Sitka and AGC. AGC works way better. One handed operation was important for me and angle of the unit requires wide enough opening found only on AGCs. Mine is a previous model with shell loops and no cord to hold bino's attached to the bag. I have cut them off badlands and added for a perfect bag. These days it's an option from Jarret, who by the way is a pleasure to work with

I run a nimrod wool case for my geovids..fully enclosed and snap lock then run my pack chest strap through the case. This offers a little more protection for this high end investment👍

Broomd--They fit nice in the Sitka. I've cut out the Ezra elastic holder in mine.

AGC X50. I tried the AGC KISS MAX, but it was just a tad too small. The X50 is perfect. I have the Badlands for some other binos, but I was nervous about the magnetic closure around the batteries and SD card with my ballistic info.

After much research here I opted for the Badands Bino-X--about $86 shipped on eBay....love the well designed magnetic opening/closing.....very cool. A lot of tech in such a simple product. (I wanted and purchased the non-SD card Hd-R model and am not worried about magnets.)
Hitting the high country for mule deer soon, I'll post a review.

I thank everyone here for their input!

I know you've decided but I have my hdb's in FHF gear.

I used them on two elk hunts and it's a nice comfortable system. I really like the kuiu as well but the lack of range finder option pushed me to the fhf.

I carry a small rangefinder because i bow hunt so it's easier to use one handed then the bino's . . . .
