Best bibs known to man

If it's really cold and I'm in the deer stand, I always take the Heater Body Suit. Can dress super light, walk in to the stand be in the HBS in about 30 seconds and super comfortable in essentially any temperature. The inner pockets, and room inside make it great for storing all my gear. When done, out in 30 seconds, roll it up in 30 seconds and I head out. Windproof, water resistant and quiet. Sounds weird but if I have the chance it's even more comfortable if I can take my boots off and leave them out of the HBS! If not in the HBS, I have a set of Stratus bibs that I wear almost from the start of bow season. When it's warm I just throw on shorts with them.

I really like the uninsulated Klim Togwotee bibs. Tough and durable, and I can layer whatever insulating layers are appropriate for the conditions.

Have some great pac boots that should do the trick. That with good socks and insulated insoles.

Been really considering that incinerator system. I feel like that layer with down underneath and some merinos I’ll be solid.

You may not get a lot out of the down if you wear it underneath. If it doesn’t have room to loft up it’s mostly worthless.

This is true. I was assuming you were rifle hunting and noise wasn’t a huge deal. They’ve got a gore tex shell so kind of like rain gear. Not awful but not as quiet as stratus or fanatic.

Love my fanatic bibs, but I'm primarily a treestand hunter and don't have to walk through a lot of thick cover(until it's recovery time). They're super comfortable, warm and quiet, but the one downside is they're absolute burr magnets. I also had the Incinerators at one point, but much prefer the fanatics for my use.

Those Sitka items work well. However, there are plenty of other garments on the market that compare well and are actually better.

Look at the specifications: type of insulation, grams of insulation, and CLO values of the garments. Might learn something.
