Hey Folks,
I have two years until I have a bit more spending money. I'm based in Central Idaho, but what would be the some ideas for great hunts to get lots of big game experience in a short timeframe?

I was thinking Hawaii for goats, pigs, deer...
Texas for pigs..
Bonus points for spot and stalk option
Other thoughts?

Doesn't Idaho have resident OTC deer, elk, bear? I'm sure some of the states around you have OTC or easy to acquire tags. Otherwise yeah texas pigs.

Dude, you’re in Idaho? Bear. With hounds and bait possibilities, it’s like it’s built for trad.
For sure, I was thinking somewhere with a shot opportunity per day instead of one per season.

I'm pretty stoked for bear bait and season this year I was too busy moving hay and building fence this year. Not sure I'd want to shoot one in front of hounds with a bow... I grew up hunting hounds but never seem like the weapon was a big part of that process.

I like backcountry spot and stalk so pretty competitive sometimes/ most of the time out west.
Just wondering what it would cost to go somewhere like Texas and get something like seven opportunities in 7 days to work on my shot sequence and just get that experience and confidence.
