Best 10x42 for 1K or less

Anybody compare the Leupold Bx-4's to the new Leupold Gen 2 BX-4's?

I'll be at my local cabelas tomorrow, I can try and look through both.

The best pair of bino's I've ever looked through were Vortex Razor UHD's. However, the Leupold BX-4's werent far behind as far as glass goes.

These Bx-4 Gen 2's look as clear and bright as the Vortex Razor HD's. I really can't see an advantage to Razors other than a wider FOV. Clarity and brightness are very very similar to my eyes both at daylight and dusk

Yes especially their 40mm and 50mm objective when compared to other range finders glass wise.

Got a pair of razor UHD 10x42 refurbished from Sierra.com $629. They appear to be brand new. I really like them, although I had to get a new bino harness as they are much bigger than standard 10x42 binos

IMHO, you couldn't find better binoculars for twice what you paid. Great deal!!!!

Buy used Swarovski EL for about $1200. Use for a couple years and then flip them for a used Swarovski EL newer model adding a couple hundred more. I now it’s a little more than $1000. I did this a while back and I’m glad I did. The Swarovision EL’s are awesome.

Are you sure you got UHD’s? They’re listed at 949 for the UHD’s. The regular HD’s are 629 from what I’m seeing. Either way, 629 is a good deal for the standard Razor HDs too.

I did see the UHD drop that low. By the time I saw they were out of stock though. If he had to replace the harness due to size it was probably the UHDs.

Just like a few weeks ago they had the Normal Razor HD for $450. It didn't last long.

You can still get the UHD 8x42's from Europtic for $899, which is an absolute steal.

Yeah, you have to be quick. The good deals last a little while the great deals go quick. I emailed my son when I got mine and they were sold out. When I remember I check in in the morning to see what’s new.
