I carry 175 grain critical duty goes about 1,100 fps out if a 4.5 inch barrel plenty for self defense against bad guys as for hunting or bears 180 or 200 grain xtp's

My choice for 2 legged critters is 180 HST with 180 Gold Dots a close 2nd.

For 4 legged I typically use 200 grain XTP or 220 Hard Cast.
