What are your guys jump to the lands with berger bullets?

6.5mm 140 vld hunting, .030” was the most consistent out of my old 260

7mm 175 elite hunter .032” is where I ended up after testing.

The hybrid ogives are supposed to be more foregiving to seating depth. But it really depends on what the targets are telling you when doing seating depth tests, every barrel is different.

With my custom 280ai and 168 Bergers, fifty thousandths and and five thousandths were nearly identical. Everything in between was less desireable.
I chose the five as it allows for throat erosion for a longer period without having to adjust load or having barrel work.

No idea. I find my seating depth and leave it for the life of the barrel.

This barrel had 1900 rounds when I decided to play with a tuner brake.

Bergers can be all over the map on depths. Even the Hybrids. My 6cm 108 eol's love .070. My old .25-06 115 vld's liked .010. With the yellow box, I don't hesitate to back them way off.
