Beside the “open tip” what’s the actual difference? A very slight difference in bearing surface? I guess
I don’t know what separates the two different 230’s.

Technically a match bullet.. it's a little harder jacket then the hybrid or hunting bullet.. I've never had issues knocking stuff down with them in 300 normas...norma AIs and 300otms in lapuas

The OTMs sit farther into the case at the same CBTO. In the attached photo L to R 230 hybrid, OTM and 208LRHT. All three are 3.060 CBTO in a 300RUM.

The OTM will do anything the hybrid will do and are much easier to find
