This is a brand new, not take-off, Bergara Ridge stock for Remington 700 pattern rifles, short action. This version comes with steel pillars from the factory. I just bought a new rifle, and the stock that came with it was cracked in transit. I transferred the rifle to me before noticing the crack, so had to deal with Bergara directly for warranty. Because I wasn’t confident that it was going to be replaced under warranty because I already accepted the rifle, I shifted the goal of this build and bought a chassis. This is the replacement stock that I eventually got a few weeks later.
This is honestly my favorite sporter style rifle stock, hands down, and what keeps me buying Bergara instead of anyone else. I already have three others in the gun safe, so I’d rather somebody else get the use of this.
