Bergara opinions??

While not a Bergara fan boi, I do have two; HMR in 6.5CM and Wilderness Sierra in 300WM. I haven't shot the WM yet, but the HMR have been fantastic. I was concerned on the first outing as I'd get an odd flier every 4-5th shot. Seemed to be a little more sensitive to specific ammo (Berger...weird...) but later tracked it down loose rail fasteners. Ooops. My gunsmith (me) sucks.

Have you shoot the Wilderness Sierra yet? It's one of the rifles on my list I am trying to decide between.

Sighted, took it to NM and harvested a nice elk cow this weekend. It is most certainly 1 MOA with 180g Core Lokt tipped as well as 180g Federal Fusion loads. Quite frankly thrilled with it's performance.

Savage makes tons of left handed options and are easy accurate shooters. Just have to have some thick skin from the cooler crowd that carry plastic stocked rifles from other brands…

I’ve had 2 Bergaras. First one was a ridge sp in 308….. it was a nightmare to get to shoot. Never really would shoot anything consistently under MOA… I got frustrated with it and just rebarreled to a 6cm…

Currently have a Bergara stoke in 6.5 prc… it shoots decent….
I’ve got a handful of tikkas and moving forward that’s the only road I think I’ll go down

I just ordered a stoke in 6.5 PRC any extra thoughts on the rifle,? Will have a can on it as well. It will be my dedicated hunting rifle

Looking at the Wilderness Sierra because I am left handed.
Not a Tikka fan.

How can you not be a Tikka fan? I'm a fellow lefty an you can't beat them for the money an accuracy
