Hello All,

I'd like some help. A while back I acquired what appears to be a benchmade knife. I have let it sit for some time and was not sure what to do with it. It's not something I really need and thought maybe I should just sell or trade it. However, after doing some research on what it was exactly, like model and value I noticed there was a lot of talk about fakes. If it's real it's a grizzly creek and seems to be a version 1, As that seems to be the matching model number. But I have no idea. It didnt come with a box or anything, it's just the knife. I will say it's really sharp. I removed some skin when I was cleaning off the gut hook. But how do I identify? And if it's real what should it sell for?

I have attached some pics. Let me know if I need to send more or different pics to identify.

Thanks a lot

I would contact Benchmade, and ask how to definitively identify it. Id talk before mailing it to them as part of their deal os reserving the right to hang onto knock offs mailed in I think. If its genuine, their warranty and lifetime sharpening still apply I believe, not positive on that.

Yes .... LifeSharp Warranty is transferable and goes with the knife

I can attest to the fact that Benchmade honors the LifeSharp program for second hand knives. I've sent mine back a few times for maintenance and never once had an issue from them. It'd be an easy way to know for sure what you have.

If you want to sell it, list it for sale with whatever you think is fair. If someone wants it, they'll either pay you what you're asking or make you an offer. Benchmade makes good knives. Maybe their customer service people are working remotely....?
